Tips : How to Get 3D Buildings in Google Earth Flight Simulator

1. Enter Flight Simulator mode - Select "Tools->Enter Flight Simulator". Optional: fly to a city which has 3D buildings (tip: San Francisco, Baltimore, Atlanta, Raleigh, Charlotte - these all have lots of 3D buildings). NOTE: - there is a bug in GE 4.3 if you select the "Current View" option in the "Enter Flight Simulator" window, you may end up at an higher altitude than you expect upon starting the flight (much higher). Just fly back down to the city level.
2. Open the Sidebar - Sidebar shortcut - Press 'Ctrl + Alt + B' (or + Option + B' on the Mac) to bring up the sidebar
3. Turn on 3D Buildings - Turn these on in the Layers pane in the lower left after the sidebar opens.
4. Turn Off Sidebar - IMPORTANT - before resuming the flight simulator, turn off the sidebar by hitting the sidebar shortcut from step 2
5. Resume flight - Now you can resume flying the flight simulator by hitting the SPACE key and the 3D buildings should stay on for your current flight.

If you're a pilot, there are many ways Google Earth can be used to really enhance your trip plans both from an aviation and ground-based perspective. But, Google Earth goes way beyond just trip planning as a tool for pilots. I'm a pilot myself, and have been using Google Earth to enhance my flying experiences for nearly three years.

Tips : How to Get 3D Buildings in Google Earth Flight Simulator

This is the Multilingual Version. This supports ALL Languages and ALL Keyboard Layouts. This is the x86 version (32Bit).Updates currently work fine and this also currently passes WGA. As a preventative measure, I've also included Office and Windows WGA Cracks which are in a folder called "TJ" on the disc in case they start blocking the serial number included. You don't need to use these unless you can't get updates, or this is no longer passing WGA.

This is set to automatically log you in each time you start up. If you want to be prompted for a username and password please see the "TJ" folder on the disc. It contains a registry patch that you can run to have it prompt for username and password again. This folder on the disc also contains numerous other little tweak applications, registry patches, WGA Cracks & More.
Please look at it before asking questions.

In the "TJ" folder on the disc, in the folder called "Registry", you will see another folder called "Save_Icon_Layout". Whenever I install new graphics drivers my icons on my desktop get out of place. This little DLL and Reg Patch will help with saving/restoring your Desktop Icon Layout. To Install It: Extract the "LAYOUT.DLL" filder to "Drive:Windowssystem32" folder. Then double click the Reg Patch to apply it. Now it should show up as an option when you right click on your My Computer Icon. I have removed the original Net Framework that ships with XP. It's super old and outdated. You can still download and use a newer version however. Just download the latest version from Microsoft.com or Windows Update.

I have disabled and deleted the Classic Windows XP Install Screens with the info about XP and the blue Background.
You will just see a black background now and the install will look similar to 2000. This saves Space and gives more
info while installing.

The Windows Server 2008 will helps IT professionals to increase the flexibility and reliability of their server infrastructure while offering developers a more robust web and applications platform for building connected applications and services.

This software is for evaluation and testing purposes. Evaluating any version of Windows Server 2008 R2 software does not require entering a product key, however will require activation within 10 days. Failing to activate the evaluation will cause the licensing service to shut the machine down every hour (The 10 day activation period can be reset five (5) times by using the rearm command. See below for further information on activation rearm). After this time, you will need to uninstall the evaluation software and reinstall a fully-licensed version of Windows Server 2008 R2.

How to manually rearm the 10 day activation grace period
When the initial 10-day activation period nears its end, you can run the Slmgr.vbs script to reset it back to 10 days. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Command Prompt.

2. Type slmgr.vbs -dli, and then press ENTER to check the current status of your activation period.

3. To reset the activation period, type slmgr.vbs –rearm, and then press ENTER.

4. Restart the computer.

This resets the activation period to 10 days, and can be used up to five times. After this you will need to either activate or reinstall the evaluation.
